Mextoys, first video, 2002-04 [Ca. 5:00"] Ciudad Victoria and Culiacán,
small cities in North Mexico. People celebrate a middle-class weeding.
Meanwhile, the strident singing of thousands of birds floods the
streets. This video refers also to the sexual life of some couples in the same city. I recorded all the sequences at about 3AM, in Mexico.

Mextoys,
second Video , 2002-04 [Ca. 5:00"] Some takes on daily life on Mexican streets, related to noisy toys and crowded
street fairs. Several noisy balloon street-sellers are also present. Some short, but quite explicit sex takes are present. Here the relationship between toys, sex, dance and game is clearer, less abstract, more real. Some sections of the sound track were listened before, in the past movement, some image-references will be seen in the next by the performers.

Doña Soco, her Mother and the chicken. 2003-2009. This is a
portrait of Doña Soco and her mother, Mexican women living between
Mexico and Cuernavaca cities at the moment I made this recording, in
September 2003, just a week before I moved to Germany — I found this
recording seven years later, in 2009. After finding the right music for
it (I needed two months) I realized that, at the end, the chicken was
actually "me", leaving my country — This is also a personal portrait of
Germany as far as I perceive it these days, thinking in
leaving the country.
