Born in Mexico and
currently based in Germany, where he is also a citizen,
Sandoval is a contemporary polymath working across
artistic handicrafts, sound, and visual arts. His
practice spans both analogue and digital media,
integrating traditional craft techniques with emerging
technologies.
Rooted in a Gestalt
approach to creativity, his work investigates holistic
and dialectical relationships between
Humans-as-Machines
and Machines-as-Humans. Through this
perspective, he explores on the dialectics of symbolic
self-perception. He lives and works primarily in Berlin.
His diverse body of work has been commissioned,
exhibited, and presented internationally, including in
Austria, China, Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico,
the Netherlands, Palestine, Spain, the United States,
and the United Kingdom. |
