Natur und
Kunst gegen Gewalt und gesellschaftliche
Vereinsamung
Baumberauschen
ist eine Klanginstallation basierend auf dem Wind.
In dieser Installation wird ein Baum mit
Bewegungssensoren ausgestattet und seine Bewegungen,
angeregt durch den Wind, in Klangkunst bzw. in Musik
übersetzt. Dazu wird eine große Auswahl von
verschiedenen Klangaufnahmen verwendet.
Die “Insel” ist in seiner Abgelegenheit nicht
eindeutig ein Ort des Wohlfühlens und gibt den
Bewohnern nicht genügend Interesse um sich dort
aufzuhalten. Das Ziel des Projektes ist die
Wiedererlangung dieses potentiell wunderschönen
Platzes für alle Kiezbewohner (von Kindern bis
Senioren) durch Kunst, Natur und Technologie. Die
„Insel“ kann sich so in einen Platz des
In-Sich-Kehrens und Entspannen und bietet ein
Zusammenkommen in einer attraktiven Umgebung.

Biosphere Lab
Located in the
North-Campus of the Technische Universtität, in Berlin, the BiosphereLab
was an experimental extension of the TU Elektronisches Studio. The main
purpose of this Lab was to offer composers, researchers, students, sound
designers and sound-installation artists the possibility to experiment with
electroacoustic music and human-interaction objects in an open space surrounded
by nature.
